I know in the Northern parts of the world that this the time of the year you all wax lyrical about pumpkins, the onset of Fall and cute ways to wrap a scarf around your neck (my IG timeline can currently testify to that). Whereas, South of the Equator you’ll find that this month is a favourite for all sorts of (selfish) reasons *ahem*☺
I’m not a big fan of events scheduled after 3:00pm on a Sunday because they interfere with my nap schedule. This past Sunday, however, FOMO (fear of missing out) and curiosity won the day as I found myself attending my first “Unplugged Zimbabwe” music festival. I get it, summer has barely got her one hip through the door on this side of the world and I’m already forecasting the strongest musical players for the next 7 months. Eager much? When it comes to music and my propensity to create playlists for anything, I would have to respond with a cool and emphatic, “Yes. Very.” There’s no doubt that many more strong song contenders for this list will make themselves known in the months to come.
